Poralu is created at Port, on the banks of Lake Nantua (France). This company, founded by Léon Carminati and Bruno Pellegrini, was originally specialised in metal construction.

Poralu develops a business sub-contracting the manufacture of landing stages.

The company attends the Paris Boat Show for the first time and begins direct sales of its boating equipment. Its signs its first contracts for projects in the Mediterranean.

Two brothers, Jean-Pierre and Philippe Carminati, take over management of Poralu Marine and sign their first contracts on the Atlantic (Douarnenez, Brittany).

Poralu Marine goes international, attending various European boat shows (Gênes, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam,...) and establishes its first large construction sites (Jersey in Great Britain, Andorra, Liguria in Italy).

The Poralu Marine group takes on a new technology, rotary moulding (ROTAX ), used particularly to manufacture the division's floats. It also opens its first subsidiary in Australia, which equips the Wooloomooloo marine in Sydney and the Mandurah marina in Western Australia.

Poralu Marine continues its international growth and opens its 2nd subsidiary in Montreal in Canada, to be closer to North American markets. Its first sites were Boston, Toronto, and La Paz in Mexico.

Laurent Gasiglia took over a General Manager of Poralu Marine. Installation of the first marina in China at Quindao, for the 2008 Olympic Games.

The launch of Mobi-Deck®, an innovative system of floating mobile landing stages, demonstrates both Poralu Marine's ability to innovate in producing top-of-the-range harbour equipment and the quality brought to integrating this equipment in a protected environment.

Obtained ISO 9001 quality certification.

The Poralu Marine continues its international development, particularly in Asia (Hong-Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.).

Poralu equips the London 2012 Olympic Games at the rowing venue at Eton.
